
It's Time for Green Drinks in May
Slow Down and Look Close! Come See the Photos of Critters Found in our Forest Preserves
Wednesday May 20th, 6pm to 8 pm at Italian Kitchen, 648 Deerfield Rd., DeerfieldLocal nature photographer Lisa Muskgrave shares her work with the flora and fauna found in our local woods and prairies. Lisa is a co-steward at Deer Grove in Palatine, responsible for managing the volunteer activities in Illinois’ first nature preserve. She will showcase her photos and experiences gained from eighteen years of work with the Cook County Forest Preserves.
Our monthly Green Drinks events are an opportunity to informally socialize, network, have a drink or a meal, and learn about the environmental topics and issues affecting our area. Everyone in the community is welcome, no tickets are needed, and admission is free.
