SUMMARY:Go Green Deerfield volunteer workday at Deerfield Historical site
DESCRIPTION:Deerfield Area Historical Society and the historic site by Kipling school is undergoing renovation of their gardens around the historic buildings. \nPart of the renovation is phasing out some of the non-natives liked lilies and transitioning to more native species used by Native Americans and early settlers in our area\, such as Ecchinacea (Purple coneflower)\, milkweeds\, and many more plants and trees. \nJoin members of the DAHS and GGD to weed and plant in the gardens on Saturday\, June 18th from 12 pm to 2 pm. \nBring some hand tools and a sharp spade if available.  Cold soda and water included!
