DESCRIPTION:Let’s meet up at Go Green Deerfield’s 3rd Annual Sustainable Yard Tour on Saturday\, July 24th from 10am to 2 pm. \nWe’ll be showcasing six beautiful Deerfield yards with some of the following features: \n\nNative plants\, shrubs\, and trees\nButterfly gardens\nHome and municipal composting with LIVE DEMO!\nHealthy hedges of native shrubs and trees\nBuckthorn removal practices\nEdible landscaping with veggies and fruit\nRain barrels and rain gardens that help ease rain water runoff\nRooftop solar panels\nNatural lawn care\n\nStay tuned next week for a listing of the six yards\, and tune up your bicycle to make the tour truly sustainable! \nGo Green Deerfield members on site to help answer many of your questions on these sustainable topics. \nDon’t worry if you can’t make it to the yard tour in person!  Check out our Facebook and Instragram pages and website after the event for a virtual tour.
