DESCRIPTION:Join Go Green Deerfield\, the Deerfield Park District\, Trinity UCC and Friends of the Chicago River for Chicago River Day. This year with 2 locations!\nRegister via Eventbrite for the Briarwood Park on River Rd. site here or for the Trinity UCC on North Ave site here. Both are the last remaining flatwoods in Deerfield and are critical habitats. \nVolunteer to improve the health and beauty of the Chicago River system by cleaning up litter and planting monarch-friendly flowers\, shrubs and trees. Use the Friends of the Chicago River FAQ  link below to learn more about River Day\, what to bring\, and what to expect when you get there. \nIndividual registration is required. Social distancing will be observed and masks required.
